Book Review: Realpolitik, a History, by John Bew

An excellent book! The author analyzes the origin of the concept Realpolitik in the XIX century and points out how this term has been associated with a certain rediscovery of Machiavelli’s writings up to the present time. However, Bew in this book leads us to analyze the history of the concept of Realpolitik as something more complex than simply a return to the realism current, which in many cases has applied only to the framework of international relations
